History of the Braves Baseball Club penned by Mrs Margaret Carter, Club Patron.
I take great pride that I have been part of the Braves Club for many, many years and there would be very few games that I have not seen.
The sources of information from which this account has been compiled are mainly reminiscences and newspaper cutting which have been so kindly loaned for which I express my sincere gratitude.
I have researched all the minutes the Club can trace and regret the fact that so many newspaper cuttings are minus the date and so much Club history is missing.
Writing the history of 50 years of the Braves Club has been quite an experience – I hope I can share some of it in the following pages.
